Suicide Prevention Awareness Campaign
A Month of Movement, Connection & Hope
This September, Pure Toms River Yoga will once again host our annual Together We Shine Suicide Prevention Awareness Campaign — a month dedicated to mental health awareness, community healing, and reminding people they are not alone.
Last year, because of the support of our incredible community, local businesses, teachers, volunteers, sponsors, and students, Together We Shine raised over $20,000 through fundraising events, wellness experiences, sponsorships, and donations.
This year holds even deeper meaning as To Write Love on Her Arms celebrates 20 years of bringing hope, support, and conversation to mental health and suicide prevention awareness.
Why This Matters
This work matters because we all know someone… or we’ve been that someone.
The person silently struggling.
The friend trying to hold it together.
The family member navigating anxiety, grief, depression, addiction, trauma, or loss.
The person who simply needed someone to ask if they were okay.
Together We Shine was created to remind people they are not alone.
Through movement, conversation, wellness events, community connection, and shared support, this campaign helps create spaces where people feel seen, supported, and hopeful again.
How You Can Be Part of It
Throughout September, Together We Shine will include:

• Beach yoga fundraisers
• Sound healing and meditation experiences

Together We Shine Wellness Day
We are also looking for wellness vendors, massage therapists, Reiki practitioners, teachers, volunteers, food donations, and community partners to be part of our Together We Shine Wellness Day.
