Pure Social Reads is less of a traditional book club and more of a social club with a book attached to it.
Each month, we choose a book as our reason to get together—but the real purpose is connection. We’ll talk about the book (usually for a little bit!), share what we loved, hated, or didn’t understand, and then spend the rest of our time simply hanging out and enjoying each other’s company.
There’s no pressure to finish the book, no quizzes, no required discussion questions, and no judgment. You can read every page, listen to the audiobook, skim a few chapters, or just come because you want to meet people.
Every Meetup Is a Little Different
This isn’t a sit-in-a-circle-at-the-studio kind of book club.
One month we might meet for brunch. Another month could be a beach day, dinner, coffee, a community event, or something inspired by the book we’re reading.
The book gives us a starting point. The people make it fun.
Who Can Join?
Everyone. You don’t have to be a Pure member, and you don’t have to consider yourself a “big reader.”
Come by yourself—you won’t be the only one. Bring a friend. Join us every month or just when a particular book or meetup sounds fun.
How It Works
We choose a book.
You read as much—or as little—as you’d like.
We announce a fun meetup.
We spend a little time talking about the book and a lot more time connecting, laughing, and getting to know each other.
That’s it.
No homework. No pressure. Just a good book, something fun to do, and people to enjoy it with.
