Pure Toms River Yoga and Wellness will be hosting our 2nd Annual Suicide Awareness Prevention Festival the weekend of September 10-12.

This event not only helps raise funds for To Write Love on Her Arms but it also is to raise awareness for the cause across the community.

Did You Know Suicide is the third leading cause of death for New Jersey youth between 10 and 24 years of age.

Every year thousands of individuals die by suicide, leaving behind their friends and family members to navigate the tragedy of loss. In many cases, friends and families affected by a suicide loss left in the dark. Too often the feelings of shame and stigma prevent those who have suicidal thoughts and those who have suffered a loss from talking openly.

To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.

There are stories in our own community and they are not alone; there is help and hope.

We will be hosting a Month Long Raffle Beginning Sept 6 and other events throughout the month besides the main festival classes. Please click the interested button and follow us for details as the dates become closer

Virtual Myofascial Release with Morgan Adams

Myofascial release (MFR) using RAD balls, tennis ball or whatever you got helps us release tension, create greater range of motion, and encourages hydration of our tissues while targeting our fascia. Fascia is its own living, communicating, interconnected system that thrives from our head to our toes. It surrounds every muscle and every organ, so not only does it connect us, it protects us as well! We will use yoga postures to see the effects MFR so that you’re able to feel the difference in poses that you practice weekly. This class will be held on Zoom
